Hodge House is Demand Logic enabled. This allows the Mechanical & Electrical plant to be monitored and adjusted remotely providing an improved working environment and a more efficient running of the building. This facilitates lower emissions and a cheaper service charge.
Legal & General offer Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) sensors to measure temperature, air quality, humidity, noise, light and volatile organic compound. These allow office environments to be optimized improving wellbeing, physical and mental health.
Legal & General have been working in conjunction with its Facilities Managers Bellrock and Property Managers Workman to provide a Covid safe environment for its occupiers. A key part of this strategy in Hodge House is the thermal temperature checking camera on our Guildhall Place entrance.
We have produced a Covid guide for Hodge House which can be found HERE. The document has been assembled to consider the practicalities of implementing an enhanced cleaning regime and social distancing.
As the building will be occupied on a phased basis with the percentage of personnel onsite increasing over time, our strategy has been designed to be constantly reviewed and updated to reflect utilisation levels in the building.
